I just want to say thank you, to everyone who spoke and for everyone present at today's gathering, for holding space so that we could all share and feel together. It's without a doubt I wouldn't be the person or musician I am today without him. Still to do this day, whenever I walk down Dovercourt I look to his old apartment wondering if the NDP "Vote for Charlie Parker" sign has miraculously return, or if Mahalia the cat is napping in the window again. I'm so grateful to be connected to all you beautiful humans through Donnie, thank you and I love each of you.
