This is one of my favourite photos. I remember many concerts as a kid on the bandstand at the Public Gardens in Halifax. I'd dance, barefoot in the grass while my dad played.

This was a great editorial cartoon from the Chronicle Herald (Halifax) in 1996 by Bruce Mackinnon. Many might remember that the Jazz Festival was sponsored by Du Maurier at the time .
