Don Palmer is one of Canada's premier saxophonists. He studied with Lennie Tristano and Lee Konitz (among others), and has played with a veritable who's who of jazz greats. He spent some 20 years in NYC (late 1950s - 1976) and returned to Canada where he established the jazz program at Dalhousie University, helped found one of the country's jazz festivals, and became an early teacher of both Kirk MacDonald and Mike Murley.
Don is now accepting private students
